It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Oswaldo Sifon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Wang Shi Ying didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Mike Tardy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Wang Shi Ying, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mike Tardy sent off a good shot on target. Made in Honduras were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ben Delaune took the corner. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wang Shi Ying showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Wang Shi Ying. Made in Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Tardy, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The shot was a little too simple and Wang Shi Ying could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Made in Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Sifon. 81 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wang Shi Ying. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With a little luck, Made in Honduras's Wang Shi Ying got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Made in Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Wang Shi Ying, making the score, 1-3. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Wang Shi Ying, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wang Shi Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. Made in Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Agustín Saelices scored to the left of an out of position Wang Shi Ying, making the score, 1-4.
