The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bruno Pascal made a huge save. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Pascal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Pascal. Bruno Pascal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, Deportivo Gamberro's Bruno Pascal got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Pascal was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Gamberro throughout the match.
