Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Leocadio got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 3rd minute. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Cheche came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Betadur. LA DEL MONO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Humberto Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Betadur. Fabio Betadur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Higinio Botellos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Humberto Leocadio took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Zhuo Sha Le. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Edelmiro Paskal got a free kick in the 58th minute. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save LA DEL MONO from getting a goal against them. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LA DEL MONO's goalie and right to Cristian Sancho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LA DEL MONO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fabio Betadur came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Botello in the 71st minute of play. Mateo Rudolfo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Rudolfo helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Rudolfo. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabio Betadur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Fabio Betadur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by LA DEL MONO's Humberto Leocadio. But to his dismay, Humberto Leocadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The LA DEL MONO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
