With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bubu Denat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bubu Denat's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Alejandro Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bubu Denat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Bubu Denat slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Bubu Denat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Villarroel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Bubu Denat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. When F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bubu Denat to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. With his leg Alejandro Verdu managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. When F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Gonzalo Boye ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marc Vilaplana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bubu Denat's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Bubu Denat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bubu Denat came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Francesc Pla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bubu Denat in the 95th minute of play. When F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fully deserved thier win.
