With an all-out effort, Las Brisas FC's Demonde Jacobson threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Vasco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Cecilio Weterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Karlus Waugh's late challenge caught a Las Brisas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Javan Develder got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Brisas FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Normando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Fanuco in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Godofredo Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Brisas FC and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Las Brisas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jamaica:s goal. The referee gave Jamaica a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Finlay Stair, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Las Brisas FC's Celedonio Normando. 1-1. The supporters of Las Brisas FC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cecilio Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarell Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Celedonio Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamaall Padmore to maneuver through the defense. Finlay Stair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Normando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlus Waugh in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Romon Oliver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Normando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cecilio Weterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Brisas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 66th minute Cecilio Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Las Brisas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlus Waugh in the 68th minute of play forced Las Brisas FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamaica's Romon Oliver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celedonio Normando. That made the score 2-3 after 73 minutes of play. In the 79th minute, Cecilio Weterio made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Romon Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The Jamaica fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Jamaica's Jarell Hill looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Las Brisas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jamaica's performance. The match ended with a win for Jamaica.
