Koby Wright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Abad having to make a save. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Harris, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Rohan Watson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Abad. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rohan Watson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 8th minute of play. Elvio Francess short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jax Williamson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 12 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Blas Frances. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Saturno went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Koby Wright struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nicasio Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. In the 33rd minute, Alonzo Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, Canada's Koby Wright shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicasio Abad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canada reached it. In the 37th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Isăcescu to maneuver through the defense. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 59th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. In the 61st minute of the match Canada got a corner. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save. Pietro Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pietro Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter George in the 73rd minute of the match. Rohan Watson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alonzo Gomesano hit a great ball. Prince Anderson scored 1-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute Theo Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nate Mills hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Prince Anderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prince Anderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Filip Edwards lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Nicasio Abad. Canada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
