Neil Mcinnes scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neil Mcinnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Neil Mcinnes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neil Mcinnes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Dylan Sarmiento made a throw-in which Tomas Berganza played forward. In the 53rd minute, Neil Mcinnes made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Neil Mcinnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mcinnes in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SANTOS FC- FDFDF had won after a very even match.
