Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Isias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Lauaxeta during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Gisbert made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joshua Secada. Delmiro Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Isias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Fabricio Loi in the 18th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Benat in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Benat in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. Piquirenda FC's Saverio Benat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Lucio Cordearo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Maximiliano Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquirenda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Iraitz. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Samuel Munio replaced Fabricio Loi. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Aldo Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aldo Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Siro Endira replaced Delmiro Intxixu. In the 66th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Lauaxeta to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes, Piquirenda FC's Iker Vistruario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piquirenda FC reached it. After 74 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Lauaxeta. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Benat went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Benat in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Lucio Cordearo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Saverio Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 3-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Isias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Toro might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Toro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Toro's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. After 99 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Piquirenda FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
