The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Ricki Gervais. But to his dismay, Ricki Gervais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Danny Booth notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Ricki Gervais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 22nd match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Selby to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Ricki Gervais made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubinho Furtado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Sérgio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Gervais in the 35th minute of the match. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricki Gervais in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Billie Curtis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ricki Gervais came free, but Dorian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinnie Jones in the 42nd minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gareth Rowe during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Eduardo Netto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Ricki Gervais lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Dorian Catarinense. 58 minutes into the match, Billie Curtis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dorian Catarinense, 0-7. In the 61st minute, Danny Booth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricki Gervais, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dorian Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Gervais in the 70th minute of the match. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Ricki Gervais. After some careless play in the Microsoft Team defense, Danny Booth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorian Catarinense. The Microsoft Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Catarinense should have stopped the shot. Danny Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Catarinense having to interfere. Billie Curtis struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dorian Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Microsoft Team from getting a goal against them. Billie Curtis didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-11 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Egg Chasers FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lúcio Arce hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vinnie Jones was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Curtis in the 95th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
