Lech Slazak hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Luan Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Szczepan Damazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lech Slazak's late challenge caught a Microsoft Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lech Slazak helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Netto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Wymiatacze's Szczepan Damazki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fernando Ferraz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Luiz Fernando Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olaf Grocholski charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Wymiatacze's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Microsoft Team. Luan Pontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szczepan Damazki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Wymiatacze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Fernando Ferraz was slow to take the kick. During this time Microsoft Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Microsoft Team's Luiz Fernando Ferraz to fire away a dangerous shot which Szczepan Damazki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luan Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Szczepan Damazki made a huge save. Sérgio Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Damazki having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Leonard Labus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal and Leonard Labus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luan Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Szczepan Damazki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Pontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Luiz Fernando Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Artur Knopek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luan Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 93rd minute of the match Lech Slazak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lech Slazak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to FC Wymiatacze getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lech Slazak hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Wymiatacze's Szczepan Damazki got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Luan Pontes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Microsoft Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Microsoft Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
