Claudio Brkić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. Ruperto Osmundo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, FC Koper's Luka Saje made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Matteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Remir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Georgij Jakopič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marino Gregorič scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Matteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Brkić, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Enzo Remir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Džerfi Škrinjar struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Leonides Matteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koper. Flavio Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bine Šercelj having to interfere. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mato Podlogar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Remir to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Mato Podlogar got a free kick in the 50th minute. 56 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Marino Gregorič came free, but Leonides Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luka Saje kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Matteo. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Marino Gregorič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Matteo came out of the goal and Marino Gregorič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Džerfi Škrinjar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Claudio Brkić put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Matteo. Clodoveo Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bine Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind PLUMIN's goalkeeper Leonides Matteo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Emeterio during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Koper booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Brkić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Leonides Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Koper played a much better game than PLUMIN and deserved their victory. The PLUMIN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
