Paulo Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Ferraz in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisito Txema, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luisito Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Mauricio Galtero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian Catarinense. Microsoft Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Galtero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sérgio Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Luisito Txema made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Sérgio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Locaio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dorian Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Txema came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Microsoft Team's Luiz Eduardo Netto. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paulo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lúcio Arce fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Lúcio Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Lúcio Arce got a free kick in the 47th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Jeremias Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Cugat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Tulio made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Paulo Tulio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorian Catarinense was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When Ruben Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amelie FC's protests and gave Ruben Martxot a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Martxot hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when Amelie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Sérgio Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Microsoft Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Luisito Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Txema having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Ferraz might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Txema. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Ferraz ran back to his position shaking his head. Amelie FC's Luisito Txema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 97th minute of play. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
