Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Molander went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Daniel Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DJVAGALUMY FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Molander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Linares during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uruguay's Lucho Andrade was substituted for Bruno Beldad. In the 14th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Linares to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Jorge Sainz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJVAGALUMY FC. the free kick. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Linares in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Furtado came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robinho Amorim. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Molander to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 43 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Åke Molander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Seco could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Robinho Amorim however easily saved by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Robinho Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save DJVAGALUMY FC. from getting a goal against them. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Robinho Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 71st minute of play. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Dracena. In the 84th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Kvammen to maneuver through the defense. When Harri Niskanen fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJVAGALUMY FC.'s protests and gave Harri Niskanen a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Harri Niskanen. Benjamin Kvammen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Alberto Gisbert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robinho Amorim. The goal made the score 3-2. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Benjamin Kvammen notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, DJVAGALUMY FC. could leave the field as winners, despite Uruguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
