Mariusz Mroczynski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Brow Team were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Kostrzewa took the corner. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Ciempa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brow Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Igor Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Brow Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
