Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After 5th play minutes Felix Montenegro shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Dariusz Soszka and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play forced Yelonki's goalkeeper Dariusz Soszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Yelonki's Alfred Jajko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfred Jajko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yelonki protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfred Jajko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 13 played minutes Yelonki got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Jajko. After having played for 14 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Bobrowski's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Soszka having to interfere. Dariusz Soszka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of the match. Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Dag Laskowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yelonki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Dag Laskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dariusz Soszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Yelonki got a freekick which was hit by Dag Laskowski. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Dariusz Soszka despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Turek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dariusz Soszka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dariusz Soszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Laskowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Yelonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Pisarcik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klement Pisarcik hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 60th minute of play forced Yelonki's goalkeeper Dariusz Soszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Laskowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yelonki's Arkadiusz Rozanski was substituted for Jakub Bobrowski. Dariusz Soszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Yelonki's Marcin Murdza was substituted for Tobiasz Tamulewicz. In the 68th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 76th minute of play forced Yelonki's goalkeeper Dariusz Soszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Juan Sebastián Puig put in a rough tackle. Julio Vera had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Zenon Turek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes, Arkadiusz Rozanski made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Laskowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
