Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With an all-out effort, Dr Lecter SC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corneliu Dridu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Romero took the corner. Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Trevisan saved Dr Lecter SC from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dr Lecter SC's Tihomir Donevski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Trevisan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Dridu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 41st minute of the match. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr Lecter SC's goalie prevented a goal. Celso Trevisan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

In the 51st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's Válbson Batista managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 52 minute of the game. Dr Lecter SC's attentive Tihomir Donevski managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 54th minute of the game. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Primitivo Andino made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Dr Lecter SC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
