Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 7 minutes of play, U21 Saudi Arabia's Ghasan Bahbhani made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geraldo Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, U21 Saudi Arabia's Geraldo Eger threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yaseen Al Ateqi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute U21 Saudi Arabia were awarded a corner. Barakat Al Khobaize went to the cornerflag to take it. U21 Saudi Arabia's Barakat Al Khobaize was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Geraldo Eger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 16 played minutes U21 Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Jarah Al Sallal. Fellipe Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salah Al Hajraf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Ghasan Bahbhani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Saudi Arabia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ghasan Bahbhani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghasan Bahbhani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yaseen Al Ateqi might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yaseen Al Ateqi ran back to his position shaking his head. Geraldo Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaseen Al Ateqi in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Geraldo Eger got control of the ball when Yaseen Al Ateqi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaseen Al Ateqi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geraldo Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaseen Al Ateqi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fellipe Rezende hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, U21 Saudi Arabia's Shabeb Bo Hamad got a free kick in the 80th minute. Geraldo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaseen Al Ateqi in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Ghasan Bahbhani notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Geraldo Eger. Geraldo Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, U21 Saudi Arabia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarah Al Sallal to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Ghasan Bahbhani came free, but Geraldo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaseen Al Ateqi in the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Yaseen Al Ateqi notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Geraldo Eger. Geraldo Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Saudi Arabia had won after a very even match.
