Hieronim Gdowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 22nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Gilmar Couto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Daniel Kieca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Tomporowski in the 45th minute of play forced Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Russówek were awarded a corner. Edward Traczewski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Russówek's Edward Traczewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Hieronim Gdowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Montez got free with Hieronim Gdowski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilmar Couto during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zbigniew Zabrzeski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Kajetan Nalaskowski got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Frank Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Hedlund in the 73rd minute of play. Frank Berglund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Russówek:s goal. 77 minutes into the match, Jakub Gdowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hieronim Gdowski, 3-4.
