Club Atletico Magaiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Ciclon the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Magaiba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Ciclon:s goal. Felipe Elias had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Xurdin Abellaneda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Ciclon's Xurdin Abellaneda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Elias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Club Atletico Magaiba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Ciclon were winning 0-2.
