The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alejandro Villa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alejandro Villa a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Blixt in the 25th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Blixt to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Hjalmar Blixt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Blixt, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Jan Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Jan Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. BK Brincken made a substitution. Anthon Magnusson replaced Hjalmar Blixt. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Brinck went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Hurdubețiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Anthon Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
