The wind increased when Ernesto Martini made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Carballar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute of the match Lunatics of Arianrhod got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Hibai ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 55 minutes, Ernesto Martini made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile were furious when Alan Tamayo was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Martini came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristoforo Tammaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Guillermo Fontirroig could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Cristoforo Tammaro however easily saved by the left post. After 94 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Makis Galopoulos. Lunatics of Arianrhod's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
