Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Wachirapong Wattanachinda came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Mandrak got free with Dante Lacasa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Didi Mello who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Didi Mello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Tiaguinho Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Cazalla during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by Clube do Remo MZ's Dagoberto Sandoval, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Wachirapong Wattanachinda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Dante Lacasa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Baal Grunberg in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Baal Grunberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Sandoval got free with Dante Lacasa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mexico booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baal Grunberg was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Clube do Remo MZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Baal Grunberg hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Baal Grunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 65th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Sandoval in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Clube do Remo MZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Dagoberto Sandoval. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Sandoval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Wachirapong Wattanachinda in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Sandoval during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dagoberto Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Wachirapong Wattanachinda to make any attempt to save it. After 96 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Dagoberto Sandoval made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
