Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Echegoyen having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Echegoyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Eliseo Mina made a precise shot to the right of Tor Echegoyen. Momentum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tor Echegoyen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Julian Murillo scored 0-5 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor Echegoyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Auzqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Carlos Auzqui tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Azibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Arni Urb in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 91st minute, Lucas Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
