In the 6th match minute, MAGNIFICOS.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Pace to maneuver through the defense. Lara Guadalupi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Gilberto Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Lalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led MAGNIFICOS.FC's Gilberto Lalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lara Guadalupi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lara Guadalupi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute of the match. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The long shot by Gilberto Lalla in the 29th minute really tested Dante Lacasa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Valério Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valério Ortiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 36 minutes MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Lara Guadalupi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the game Felix Luque made a throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo played forward.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valério Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lara Guadalupi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Valério Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Valério Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geert Wijgaert in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lara Guadalupi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Lara Guadalupi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after MAGNIFICOS.FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Geert Wijgaert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAGNIFICOS.FC the free kick. The supporters of MAGNIFICOS.FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Wijgaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lara Guadalupi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Lara Guadalupi made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Geert Wijgaert made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 96 played minutes MAGNIFICOS.FC got a freekick which was hit by Geert Wijgaert. The MAGNIFICOS.FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
