Méndez Orgaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. The long shot by Hector Cavadas in the 15th minute really tested Bruno Barrett's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 18 played minutes CAIW got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Sociats. Kyle Davies took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Galdo. Victoriano Galdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Stanley Wallace ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Galdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Victoriano Galdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 26th minute of play. Victoriano Galdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 32nd minute of the match. Hector Cavadas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAIW. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Méndez Orgaz sent off a good shot on target. CAIW's Victoriano Galdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Davies in the 38th minute of play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Cavadas in the 41st minute of the match. Charles Cox lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CAIW:s goal. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 46th minute, where CAIW:s Hector Cavadas tricked Curacao:s Bruno Barrett with a difficult ball by the left post. After the first half Curacao were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanley Wallace to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Harvey Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Hector Cavadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lopez Sociats, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Sociats in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Hector Cavadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere.
