A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Scipio Africano with Charles Lenberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Carlos Augusto Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Bållström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Sven Bållström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Proença. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Bållström struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Giovanni de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingpins.

Giovanni de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Ekeberg's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Felippe Donatello hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kingpins's Ralf Olsmann was substituted for Charles Lenberg. Léo Cardozo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 74th minute of the match. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Bållström in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Ekeberg in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Kingpins players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
