The referee showed Stefan Sidorowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Modlau booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni de Toledo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Kelaino Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kelaino Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kaká Recife's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaká Recife helped the player get up and apologised. Giovanni de Toledo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Modlau's Walery Rekawiczka. But to his dismay, Walery Rekawiczka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 37 minutes into the game, Modlau's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Radowit Mondrowski made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Krzysztof Klejnowski. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelaino Mbappè in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Minotauro made a substitution. Frank Senna replaced Carlos Augusto Lopez. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Donatello to make the kick off. Josué Leite struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lukasz Traczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minotauro. Kelaino Mbappè hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Modlau made a substitution. Zlatin Ibrahimović replaced Kelaino Mbappè. The supporters of Minotauro booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelaino Mbappè didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatin Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Zlatin Ibrahimović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minotauro's attentive Aloísio Mesquita managed to snatch the ball when Wit Polkoski made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatin Ibrahimović. In the 70thth minute of the game Zlatin Ibrahimović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Zlatin Ibrahimović reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giovanni de Toledo. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 77th match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Piczak to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatin Ibrahimović came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Felippe Donatello got a free kick in the 81st minute. Giovanni de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Zlatin Ibrahimović sent off a good shot on target. Léo Cardozo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Léo Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Traczewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léo Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. Modlau played a much better game than Minotauro and deserved their victory. The Minotauro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
