Kingpins's Sven Bållström got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nono Gol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Bållström's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Håkan Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kingpins's Mattias Asserlind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Säfvahöjden's Simon Igelström suffered a concussion after 10 minutes and had to leave the field. 10 minutes into the game, Scipio Africano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säfvahöjden the free kick. In the 11th minute, Scipio Africano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Lars-Erik Ivarsson got a free kick in the 13th minute. The throw-in from Scipio Africano in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Säfvahöjden's Lars-Erik Överman. Nono Gol came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kingpins's Lars-Erik Ivarsson. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Ivarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute of the match, Håkan Petersson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mattias Asserlind was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute, Scipio Africano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Scipio Africano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Säfvahöjden's Lars-Erik Överman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nono Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Bållström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Håkan Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Van Schouten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mattias Asserlind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute of the match Sonny Wallin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Asserlind showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Håkan Petersson came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mattias Asserlind could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Kingpins made a substitution. Mikael Ekeberg replaced Harry Igelström. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars-Erik Ivarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Håkan Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säfvahöjden's protests and gave Håkan Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Asserlind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Schouten's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Sven Bållström took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nono Gol. Nono Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Olsmann got free with Nono Gol in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nono Gol stood somewhat misplaced when Lars-Erik Ivarsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Holger Granström charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Granström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Säfvahöjden's Holger Granström got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nono Gol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars-Erik Ivarsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. In the 84th minute Holger Granström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patric Eliasson lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Kingpins:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Säfvahöjden:s goal. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars-Erik Ivarsson during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mattias Asserlind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Schouten went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 98th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Torsberg to maneuver through the defense.
