Harry Igelström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Santos Hori made a huge save. After 14 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Fernkvist. 17 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Åkerman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kingpins's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howling Dawn U18 the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Axl Rose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Igelström in the 24th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Åkerman. Scipio Africano's late challenge caught a Howling Dawn U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scipio Africano helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Scipio Africano. When Harry Igelström fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingpins's protests and gave Harry Igelström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Igelström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kingpins's zone, Romulo Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Asserlind came out of the goal and Romulo Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kingpins made a substitution. Mikael Ekeberg replaced Harry Igelström. After 57 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Lauren. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Uriel Lauren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Asserlind skillfully saved the ball. Kingpins made a substitution. Ralf Olsmann replaced Charles Lenberg. After 66 minutes of play, Kingpins's Sven Bållström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Hori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mattias Asserlind was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axl Rose showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. Santos Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson in the 76th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Kingpins's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerard Way fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Axl Rose in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mattias Asserlind, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kingpins were furious when Magnus Mus was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Scott Weiland replaced Axl Rose. Howling Dawn U18's Baltasar Walme was substituted for Gerard Way. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kingpins! Lars-Erik Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Santos Hori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Howling Dawn U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
