Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Merengue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Sampaio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Aquiles Urtsin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Darwin Núñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Darwin Núñez made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Urtsin to strike the kick off in the second half. Darwin Núñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Darwin Núñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Darwin Núñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Aquiles Urtsin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Urtsin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Merengue FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rigoberto Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bayan Gugovski. That made the score 3-1 in the 74 minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Merengue FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 84th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darwin Núñez in the 86th minute of the match. 麦风适 kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Merengue FC were the better team. Merengue FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
