Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquiles Urtsin started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Quintyn. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 9th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Ediberto Sampaio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Aquiles Urtsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayan Gugovski. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayan Gugovski should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 33 minutes, Aquiles Urtsin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merengue FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Darwin Núñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darwin Núñez ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ediberto Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ediberto Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 61st minute of the match. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darwin Núñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merengue FC fully deserved thier win.
