With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Alejandro Espina tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Espina. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koby Wright in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Ceberiche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canada! In the 26th minute of the game, Roneros F.C. got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Rahim Niğdeli came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Niğdeli in the 39th minute of the match. Ricardo Ceberiche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mccarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Richard Mccarthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Canada booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordero Aberasturi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koby Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Richard Mccarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Dixon made a kick off. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Niğdeli in the 51st minute of the match. Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dixon in the 54th minute of play. Alejandro Espina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cordero Aberasturi was slow to take the kick. During this time Roneros F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Mattias Classon made a great header on Roneros F.C.'s corner, it was just that Canada's Jax Williamson managed to reach the ball for a save. Mattias Classon took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rahim Niğdeli hit a great ball. Rahim Niğdeli kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 68th minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Ceberiche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Espina in the 74th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the match, Richard Mccarthy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Ceberiche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Espina came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Rahim Niğdeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Richard Mccarthy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Washington Piedrahita replaced Alejandro Espina. Roneros F.C.'s Ricardo Ceberiche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Roneros F.C. from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Canada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Roneros F.C..
