Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter-Michael Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Janusze Futbolu's goalie prevented a goal. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Erosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Guillermo Erosa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Janusze Futbolu getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Frédéric Chopin hit a great ball. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Michael Schmeichel having to interfere. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of the match. When Joshua Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Garrido couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Janusze Futbolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédéric Chopin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santino Seco scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter-Michael Schmeichel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Claudio Caniglia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Jaktorowo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Caniglia came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Jaktorowo in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Claudio Caniglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Janusze Futbolu's Norbert Jaktorowo. But to his dismay, Norbert Jaktorowo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Peter-Michael Schmeichel threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norbert Jaktorowo, made in the 80th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Nicolás Tagliafico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 85th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 张学友 á Bø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Janusze Futbolu getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 张学友 á Bø hit a great ball. Claudio Caniglia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 94th match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 张学友 á Bø to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 张学友 á Bø, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Janusze Futbolu players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
