Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Långa bollar på Bengt the free kick. After 28 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Långa bollar på Bengt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 40th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ersman in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Vadim Dudãu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vadim Dudãu was the one to do the kick off. Henning Vedholm struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långa bollar på Bengt. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vadim Dudãu in the 73rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Långa bollar på Bengt's Vadim Dudãu. But to his dismay, Vadim Dudãu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When Långa bollar på Bengt's Vadim Dudãu in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Långa bollar på Bengt had played much better football throughout.
