Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Olofsi IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Olofsi IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Einar Ingvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Friberger in the 11th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Einar Ingvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Vilgot Haegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Haegg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Lars-Erik Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einar Ingvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Ingvall was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Einar Ingvall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Einar Ingvall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Haegg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Olofsi IF got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Gerazan. In the 37th minute, Olofsi IF's Prudencio Gerazan fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Dante Lacasa was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Olofsi IF's Einar Ingvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Ingvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilgot Haegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilgot Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Olofsi IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Friberger. In the 56th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Vilgot Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Haegg in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano St. Juste in the 82nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olofsi IF made a substitution. Aron Enegren replaced Vilgot Haegg. Olofsi IF were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tyrone Rubayo took the corner. Einar Ingvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Enegren in the 89th minute of play. When Olofsi IF's Aron Enegren in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
