The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Socorro got free with Thiago Pliego in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Modesto Socorro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Socorro came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiao Bin Xun's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xiao Bin Xun helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Bin Xun. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FCFiratRom had won after a very even match.
