In the 5thth minute of the game Claudio Bucciarelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mazorca's Karol Kluczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Raul Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mazorca's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Lorenzo 11's Aurelio Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Burowski in the 42nd minute of play. If Quilo Lujarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, La Mazorca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. The San Lorenzo 11 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Mazorca were winning 0-1.

Bogumil Burowski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Karol Kluczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Bucciarelli in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaç Altuncuoğlu came free, but Karol Kluczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, La Mazorca's Bogumil Burowski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Boğaç Altuncuoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Camerino in the 99th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Burowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Mazorca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
