The audience was convinced that Silas Caro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Lucky Star's Otong Pink got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seb Hedges in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Seb Hedges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Silas Caro made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Otong Pink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Cumhur Gök. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otong Pink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seb Hedges was the one to do the kick off. Seb Hedges took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joélson Domingues. Joélson Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otong Pink in the 65th minute of play. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Caro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Otong Pink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Cumhur Gök was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Joélson Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seb Hedges in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Lucky Star's Johan Bremming got a free kick in the 74th minute. DENVER™'s Leonardo Cruz was substituted for Beto Maranhense. In the 75th match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Bremming to maneuver through the defense. Joélson Domingues acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniël Orange. Diego Armando Messi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Mustafa Cumhur Gök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Rumangkit, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Seb Hedges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joélson Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seb Hedges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Daniël Orange. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Rumangkit in the 92nd minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Gök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Andra Mandagi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lucky Star's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DENVER™ the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andra Mandagi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Lucky Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andra Mandagi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

DENVER™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
