The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud Reinders in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Buitenhout FC's Ruud Reinders in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Three Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ruud Reinders charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruud Reinders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Reinders. In the 30th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Lluc to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Lluc was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Isaac Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sjaak Degens to make the kick off. Ted Fokkelman's late challenge caught a Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ted Fokkelman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, one of Buitenhout FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buitenhout FC. Tudor Mihoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, George Messi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tudor Mihoc, 1-3. When Iwo Wietrzychowski came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Buitenhout FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Wietrzychowski couldn't finish the play. Buitenhout FC made a substitution. Robert Ramzinski replaced Ruud Reinders. After 68 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by Son Adam. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ramzinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Mihoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Messi in the 73rd minute of the match. If George Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Buitenhout FC's Robert Ramzinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 85 minutes into the game, George Mbappè was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buitenhout FC the free kick. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Mbappè didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Ekeroth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tudor Mihoc firmly grabbed it by the left post.
