In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yu Jian Tian took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Guido Vissenaeken struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Stef Vallejos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. After 17 minutes, Sami Khedira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E➣ PINCHARRATA and the Brugge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Sami Khedira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stef Vallejos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the E➣ PINCHARRATA defense, Guido Vissenaeken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stef Vallejos. The E➣ PINCHARRATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stef Vallejos should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Guido Vissenaeken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugge United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Vissenaeken in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stef Vallejos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yu Jian Tian to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Stef Vallejos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brugge United made a substitution. Waud Huijbrechts replaced Jaspar Van Den Broeck. E➣ PINCHARRATA's De-Jesús Haaland was substituted for Yu Jian Tian. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnauld Van Impe got free with Stef Vallejos in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Baia came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by E➣ PINCHARRATA's Til Wolfram. But to his dismay, Til Wolfram quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Stef Vallejos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Roşculeţ in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game De-Jesús Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brugge United's Vítor Baia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Til Wolfram scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor Baia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Arnauld Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnauld Van Impe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by De-Jesús Haaland in the 95th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, De-Jesús Haaland notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Brugge United's Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Brugge United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
