Segelbut IF U21's Philip Målare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Segelbut IF U21 from getting a goal against them. When Boban Bobanović fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segelbut IF U21's protests and gave Boban Bobanović a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Segelbut IF U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boban Bobanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segelbut IF U21's Philip Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Mockiewicz in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Herbert Tscherner got a free kick in the 19th minute. Leszek Olejasz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Waldemar Rekowski hit a great ball. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Öberg in the 33rd minute of play. Sigvard Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Öberg to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alexander Krantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Mockiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Olejasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dag Larsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Krzysztof Golaszewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Dag Larsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Dobromir Cwojdak got a free kick in the 68th minute. During the 70th minute of the match Boban Bobanović completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Boban Bobanović a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 78 played minutes Segelbut IF U21 got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Krantz. Philip Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Markowski in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Segelbut IF U21 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alexander Krantz hit a great ball. Red Devils were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Segelbut IF U21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar Rekowski took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Andrzej Markowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Philip Målare quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The Red Devils supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Segelbut IF U21's performance. The match ended with a win for Segelbut IF U21.
