AC Metropol's Matías Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matías Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Raynard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the AC Metropol defense, Esteban Alvarado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Teixeira. The AC Metropol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Teixeira should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Esteban Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Metropol getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edmílson de Barros hit a great ball. William Raynard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When William Raynard came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Lunar Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Raynard couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, Lunar Park's William Raynard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lunar Park's William Raynard got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, AC Metropol's goal looked a bit too open when William Raynard came free, but Matías Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Nunes got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hamílton Miranda. In the 46th minute, Mathis Huet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Zonta made a kick off. José Vítor Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Matías Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when William Raynard sent off a good shot on target. Mathis Huet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Matías Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute William Raynard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Pitta made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor Schmidt immediately put the ball in play. In the 75th minute, one of AC Metropol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Metropol. The referee gave Lunar Park a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by William Raynard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Metropol's Matías Teixeira. 0-5. Lunar Park made a substitution. Carlos Viet replaced Théophile Nouet. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Metropol's goalkeeper Matías Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, William Raynard notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of AC Metropol's Matías Teixeira. Matías Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Lunar Park's William Raynard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. If William Raynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The AC Metropol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lunar Park were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
