Seating: 1615, VIP seats: 139) Dogelo's Arí Custódio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigi Arosculesei got free with Pedro Augusto Silva in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Onitiu during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ares FC -MM-'s Octavian Onitiu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Traian Pantea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Custódio went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute Arí Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Pantea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Şoimaru during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basarab Şoimaru hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Donato Nogueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Traian Pantea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ilie Ciociu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Traian Pantea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Maicon Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dogelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Ilie Ciociu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Augusto Silva, 1-2. 35 minutes into the game, Virgil Turceanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Augusto Silva. Virgil Turceanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Traian Pantea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Custódio in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Ian Mineiro. Pedro Augusto Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Ciociu in the 40th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Silva was a little too slow when Anton Hurezan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-3. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Hurezan made a kick off. Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Hurezan in the 53rd minute of play. Donato Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Traian Pantea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Ilie Ciociu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva. Dogelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilie Ciociu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 62nd minute, Gigi Arosculesei made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Augusto Silva. Dogelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Basarab Şoimaru hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Traian Pantea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Moura in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Cristinel Floroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ares FC -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dogelo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Ian Mineiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Adelino Pombal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. Anton Hurezan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Silva having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Silva came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC -MM-'s Anton Hurezan. But to his dismay, Anton Hurezan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. Ilie Ciociu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
For all the effort they put into the match, the Dogelo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ares FC -MM-.
