But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Torbjörn Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Torbjörn Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Torbjörn Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Torbjörn Berg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Berg came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Ramsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 41st minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Juračka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Torbjörn Berg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's corner Bertil Göransson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 81st minute of play forced Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Torbjörn Berg in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd were victorious despite being under pressure from Venezuela for much of the match.
