The referee gave KAMILOS a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konrad Lodowy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 1-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Alfred Skaradowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Blicharz took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. After 39 minutes, Wlodzimierz Dejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAMILOS and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, KAMILOS's Konrad Lodowy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 63rd minute, Michal Banan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Jerzy Blicharz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAMILOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Blicharz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Majdoch came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Alfred Skaradowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Banan scored 10-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roland Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 78th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Blicharz in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Jerzy Blicharz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Majdoch in the 89th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Dejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that KAMILOS were the better team. KAMILOS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
