In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nereo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nereo Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nereo Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Inocente came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Nereo Gaur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Gaur in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tetra Pack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play forced Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Tetra Pack FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristobal Inocente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nereo Gaur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tetra Pack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Nereo Gaur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Inocente made a kick off. Nereo Gaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Gaur ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Gaur in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Arnau saved Tetra Pack FC from getting behind. Nereo Gaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Gaur ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Cristobal Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Nereo Gaur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gaur in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Silvano Arnau in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Ellande made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 贺鸿潮 however managed to control. Silvano Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tetra Pack FC made a substitution. Evaristo Milian replaced Cacá 郭德钢. Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Gaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Lluterio in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tetra Pack FC had won after a very even match.
