Tetra Pack FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nereo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. Nereo Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvano Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Inocente in the 16th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nereo Gaur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tetra Pack FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Gaur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Cristobal Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nereo Gaur sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Cristobal Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Ellande made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nereo Gaur however managed to control. Nereo Gaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Gaur ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tetra Pack FC's Luciano Ellande got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tetra Pack FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Arnau came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Tetra Pack FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. Silvano Arnau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gaur in the 54th minute of play. When Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute Nereo Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Gaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. When Nereo Gaur came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Tetra Pack FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Gaur couldn't finish the play. Nereo Gaur took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Nereo Gaur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. When Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Nereo Gaur in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gaur in the 76th minute of play. When Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Tetra Pack FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Tetra Pack FC's Nereo Gaur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hernan Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tetra Pack FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Silvano Arnau in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nereo Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Gaur in the 96th minute of the match.
