Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hulk Fenomeno got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Fernandinho Botelho got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 20 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Genko Balevski. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Genko Balevski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hulk Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski got a free kick in the 29th minute. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Botelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Genko Balevski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genko Balevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 64th minute of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genko Balevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Balevski in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Melquiades Amor made a huge save. In the 82nd minute of the match CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genko Balevski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Hulk Fenomeno advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 83rd minute. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fernandinho Botelho hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
