Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rabah Timsit in the 5th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk in the 7th minute of play. Rabah Timsit had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Lennart Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rabah Timsit sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk in the 21st minute of play. Rabah Timsit kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Costa Rica's keeper Benito Sanz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 6-0. Rabah Timsit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fathi Ben Khalidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Bäckström in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk to strike the kick off in the second half. Houari Rimitti scored 7-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Houari Rimitti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when THE OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabah Timsit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk scored 9-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Timsit in the 70th minute of the match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by THE OLD BOYS's Fathi Ben Khalidi. But to his dismay, Fathi Ben Khalidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 78 minutes into the game, THE OLD BOYS's Fathi Ben Khalidi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE OLD BOYS. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by THE OLD BOYS's Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk. But to his dismay, Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. 94 minutes into the match, THE OLD BOYS's Guillaume Laurent Benmabrouk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Houari Rimitti came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. THE OLD BOYS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
