Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfons Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lars-Erik Lidström scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Segmon IF's Robert Dubiel in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 26 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Löfdahl got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Börje Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segmon IF's Alfons Glad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfons Glad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Löfdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Dubiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. After 60 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Börje Beck. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Segmon IF's Leif Löfdahl. But to his dismay, Leif Löfdahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 68th minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Alfons Glad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Joseph Österlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Löfdahl in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Daniel Zorita, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alfons Glad was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 88 minutes, Viktor Biörnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segmon IF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Viktor Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Börje Beck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Segmon IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Segmon IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Löfdahl in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Segmon IF throughout the match.
